In 2000, attorney Wine was appointed by the U.S. District Court in California to represent indigent criminal defendants, a service he still performs to this day. A two month trial before Judge Leonard Wexler in Alexandria, VA. I got the verdict reversed by the Fourth Circuit for Court's refusal to give the Defense requested jury instructions.
Trial counsel for alleged gang member in RICO conspiracy. Negotiated plea to 5 years less than guideline sentence.
